Tacoma Historical Society is proud to present its newest exhibit, honoring Tacoma’s unsung heroes who have worked for social justice and civil rights. The exhibit opens Oct. 27, 2017, and runs through February 2018.

 

Tacoma Historical Society Museum, 919 Pacific Avenue. Open Wednesday through Saturday, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Admission free; donations welcome.

 The exhibit is funded by a grant from the Puyallup Tribe of Indians.

The Landmark Series of local history talks is a cooperative effort of the Senior University program of the Franke Tobey Jones retirement community and Tacoma Historical Society. Programs are generally scheduled for 2:00 p.m. on the second Wednesday. The programs are free and open to the public.
