Landmark Series spotlights Tacoma-area history The Landmark Series of local history talks is a cooperative effort of the Senior University program of the Franke Tobey Jones retirement community and Tacoma Historical Society. Programs are generally scheduled for 3 p.m. on the second Thursday. The programs are free and open to the public. Franke Tobey Jones is at 5340 North Bristol St. in Tacoma.
