ARTIFACT DONATIONS

Thank you for your interest in contributing artifacts and/or archival materials relating to Tacoma’s past to the Tacoma Historical Society’s collections.

The Society follows guidelines set down in our Temporary Custody Form when considering accepting donations for inclusion in our permanent collection or for use in our educational programs.

COLLECTION FACTS:

The Society's collection has been growing over the years. Items range from Tacoma memorabilia to household items to historic publications.

The Society’s newspaper collection consists of over 450 bound volumes, dating back to 1883.

If you would like to make a donation to our collection, please contact us by email at info@tacomahistory.org or by phone at

253-472-3738.

 

 

All donations must be accompanied by a Temporary Custody Form completed by the donor or the donor’s representative, giving Tacoma Historical Society permission to retain the item(s) while the accession process is taking place. Once the item is formally accepted, the donor will receive a Deed of Gift for your records.
