After four years without an exhibit space, we were excited to return to downtown Tacoma in March of 2014. An extension of Tacoma Historical Society, our museum presents rotating exhibits promoting the history of the City of Tacoma and its people.

We are proud to present Tacoma's history on an intimate scale with an interactive approach. Our 3,100 square-foot facility provides:

  • A safe, stable environment for our growing collection
  • Increased community access to the activities and services offered by Tacoma Historical Society
  • A research facility open to the public
  • Free museum admission

The museum’s gift shop features books on Tacoma history and Tacoma souvenirs. (Current Society members receive a 10% discount.)
