THS is a 2021 Blue Star Museum

Tacoma Historical Society has joined museums nationwide in the Blue Star Museums initiative, a program that provides free admission to currently-serving U.S. military personnel and their families this summer. While admission is always free at the Tacoma Historical Society Museum, we are proud to participate in this nationwide effort to encourage accessible museum attendance.
The 2021 program begins on Armed Foces Day, Saturday, May 15, and ends on Labor Day, Monday, September 6. Find a list of participating museums at arts.gov/bluestarmuseums.
Blue Star Museums is an initiative of the National Endowment for the Arts in collaboration with Blue Star Families, the Department of Defense, and participating museums nationwide.
