Join Tacoma Historical Society for our December speaker program featuring local author Tamiko Nimura. Tamiko will discuss her family ties to her graphic history, We Hereby Refuse: Japanese American Resistance to Wartime Incarceration, and her upcoming family memoir. This memoir includes her grandfather's fight against wartime imprisonment.
Tamiko is highlighted in our current exhibit, “City of Stories: Tacoma's Literary Legacy.”
Doors will open at 5:30pm for exhibit viewing and the program will start at 6:00pm.
